The sun is shining brightly and you would never think a snowstorm is about to hit the northeast! Even if there will be snow outside tomorrow, I wanted to make sure there was some Spring inside! I finally disassembled the hot cocoa station that was on the water table and changed it up with a bit of spring.
Many of you have commented on the three tired wire stand I have used for the hot cocoa station. It is one of my favorite purchases for my home. Here it is with some spring plants and herbs.
On the top tier is one of my favorite Easter decorations - a wool bunny I made a few years ago. It is made from natural wool roving that is needle felted. It took me a long time, but I love how it turned out. I don't do a lot of needle felting anymore because it's pretty time intensive, but still have some supplies, so you may see some more on needle felting in the future.
I found this large bird's nest at a local shop. I have some smaller nests, but didn't have one this large.
In the mirror reflection, you can see my new Pottery Barn light fixture that hangs over the dining room table! I hope to get a better shot of it and my other new lighting in the kitchen soon.
Here's to Spring - even if there is going to be snow outside! I'm on a roll now and I hope to have more to share with you tomorrow!
Blessings,

I can't believe we are going to get more snow!

Just found you on Graphics Fairy, as I was searching for Easter illustrations. Your blog and your etsy are beautiful. I love the tiered wire stand. It is snowy, here, in Denver, too. But, today was full of sunshine! Many blessings to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteDorren,
ReplyDeleteOut with winter and hello spring (just keep telling yourself and it will happen). Hopeful that this will be the last snow storm in your area for this year. I would love to have a wire basket like yours...you always have yours looking so cute. Okay...I can't believe that you made that darling bunny...soooo CUTE!!!
