Last evening I realized that Valentine's Day is just about a week away! I know - with all the Valentine's Day projects out there, how could I forget! It seems like time is flying by. I have so much on my "to do" list and never enough time!
So, better late than never, I decided my home needed a little Valentine's Day love - even if it's only for one week!
This little Valentine's Day vignette is sitting atop an antique roll top desk that is my husband's work station and it is located in our kitchen. I love it because if it gets messy (which is almost always the case), I can close it up! The old shutter panel was already sitting on top of the desk along with the preserved boxwood topiaries and cow. I moved the scale from another area of the kitchen and those old tin measuring cups were my grandmother's. I had a framed cow photograph that I purchased from Etsy hanging on the shutter panel that I took down for now.
I made the Love banner from a pre-made chipboard and fabric banner set I found at Michaels in the 2.00 bins. The architectural salvage piece at the top is a recent find and I moved the wreath from another location in the house to hang there. I did make a few book page hearts to hang from the wreath.
Nothing too elaborate, but it says Valentine's Day to me!
Please stop back tomorrow for a giveaway that I'm really excited about! It's a new design for my Etsy shop that has to do with a little song from the 60's - by The Turtles . . .

What a wonderful vignette! Your LOVE banner is so pretty!! I almost bought that same cow. I kept picking it up and putting it down. I really like it. It stayed at the store though because it was right after Christmas so I was trying to hold onto my pennies. :)
