This is a really delicious macaroni and cheese and it's super easy because you make it in the crock pot. I'm asked to bring this mac n cheese time and again to family gatherings. Now, mind you, it is not healthy - but it is yummy!
One 8 oz. block Monterrey Jack cheese
One 8 oz. block Cheddar cheese
Two cans Campbell's Cheddar Cheese soup
Four empty soup cans of milk
One stick butter
16 oz. macaroni noodles
In crock pot combine: the two cheeses cut into cubes

four soup cans of milk
one stick of butter sliced
Set crock pot to high for two hours. After 2 hours, stir the mixture and add the dry macaroni noodles. The mix will be very soupy at this point. Continue to cook on high for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours. You will want to stir the mix a couple times during this time as the noodles cook and the ingredients combine.
My crock pot is pretty big and I can double the recipe for a large group. It fills the crock pot, but it always comes home empty!
This recipe is so simple and that's why we are having it while we are here at the beach. I'm making homemade pretzel wrapped hot dogs to go with it. It's a hearty meal and is filling. And, that's what I need with four men in the house!
