Easter Song

Weathered Lancaster County salvaged wood sign.

"Easter Song" is one of my favorites at Easter time. "Easter Song" was written by Annie Herring.  It was recorded by Herring & siblings group, "The 2nd Chapter of Acts", on their self titled album in 1974.  It was later recorded in 1977 by Keith Green, with an additional verse, on the LP "For Him Who Has Ears to Hear".  And, my husband's favorite, GLAD included it on "The Acapella Project" in 1988. You can find these recordings on YouTube and I recommend taking the time to listen.

Easter Song

Hear the bells ringing, they're singing
that you can be born again
Hear the bells ringing, they're singing,
Christ is risen from the dead!
The angel up on the tombstone
said He is risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell His disciples
that Jesus Christ is no longer dead!

Joy to the world, He is risen, hallelujah!
He's risen, hallelujah!
He's risen, Hallelujah!

Here are a few things I've been working on for my Etsy shop inspired by "Easter Song".

Print on fabric and salvage wood frame with original blue chippy paint!

Tags for Easter gifts or to hang from pussy willow branches with speckled eggs!

He's Risen, Hallelujah!
